Way back (Oct 2009) I discovered Krazy Kat and contacted King Features about getting the rights to do a series
of animated shorts based mostly on the original strips and to their credit I got a quick response, one which said
no.

Instead of leaving it at that I started doing some strips and it turned into more and then I figured I'd do the
minimum of 24 (the number required for submission to King Features who own the characters)and so did that and
submitted them, not recieving any response :( Still I sort of got on a roll and then ran out of steam and now just
do one now and then.

Enjoy my fan strip, as of April 7th 2010 I have about 50 done, only 60 as of Dec 31st. In the meantime look up
some of the classic Herriman cartoons online. Well worth it!

Strip 44 is ... missing at the moment. In it Ben Mouse, carrying the olympic torch runs up to a robin with an unlit torch. He lights the other torch and then lets Ignatz hold his torch before the flame goes out. Krazy looks on proudly.
